Dear Customers,
First of all, greetings to everyone and welcome to the last edition of NorwegianTrans Quarterly for the year 2008. All of us here at NorwegianTrans hope everyone has had a wonderful and prosperous summer! It's been extremely busy for us once again, and unfortunately we've had to turn down one or more jobs here or there due to large projects during the months of July and August. We are thankful for each and every offer, and especially to those that stick with us through the busy season and continue to give us business after the "smoke has finally cleared", so to speak.
With that being said, we would like to announce that we have finally freed up some time and are able to be more flexible in the weeks/months to come. In other words, we are back. Please keep those offers coming!
As some of you will remember from our summer newsletter, it was announced that Roald would be stepping down from the everyday activities on September 1st of this year and that he would be taking on a more silent role in the company. But during the last couple of months, with work being as busy as it is, Roald has decided to stay on for a while longer, while still maintaining a somewhat smaller role. It's no surprise that we here at NorwegianTrans welcome him with open arms and with the hopes that he will always be "in the office". If we are lucky, he'll still be here for 100 or so more Newsletters to come
As we head into the fall and winter months, we would also like to announce that we have signed on with The Sons of Norway, and that our ad will be featured in the November issue of Viking Magazine. The Sons of Norway promotes Norwegian heritage and culture and currently has 70,000 members here in the United States ,Canada and Norway. If anyone needs/wants more information, you can visit them at www.sonfn.com
In conclusion, we appreciate each and everyone of you and hope to continue a prosperous relationship with you all!
Best Regards,
USA Manager- |
